Organizational Tranceformation

I entered the organization as me
My individual performance was the key
The key to secure me a place
To make myself feel safe.

I had to turn on the pace
Learn the norms
Fit in the culture
To survive in the long race.

As the time passed away
There were ups and downs
To rise above the situation
We played the match together as a team
And made each and every situation count.

It was a learning process
The I syndrome was now out
Seeds of team building began to sprout
It brought out the best in us
Now I don't think as me
The key to success is now we.

In(tro)duction

It was my first day
And the time for induction
The time to calm all my fears
And get a warm introduction

I was welcomed into the organization
I being a part of it was the realization
A feeling of equality was being inject
As the process was same for all
Irrespective of the position

I was being taken care of
Had someone with me to bare off
Bare my duties responsibilities and obligations
Provide me with my jobs education

Then a visual was being brought to my site
The CEO was being introduced
His magnificence was being reproduced
Reproduced to motivate us
Aim our efforts to please the customer thus

Then came the policies and procedures
They were being inject in our mind
The rules and regulations
Were same for all
All of one kind

Filling up of the appointment letter
Made me feel better
The criteria for being evaluated
Being assessed and being rated
How an employee can earn a perk
Gift his performance a competitive jerk
All this was being explained
To the organizational process we were being trained

The session ended and so did the day
But we weren't allowed to just walk away
Now was our chance to pass a remark
To point out the good ones
And to delete the darks.

Distance Love

I had an array of mixed feelings
The day when you went away
Was still waiting back at the airport
Just to witness whether you look my way

The very next morning when I got up
I don't know what I was thinking
But something was missing in that day
Would have been the blend of your presence
Or the mere sensation of your stay

Am I just trying to create your expression?
For the sake of my desperation
To bring you into reality
From the merge of my improbability
To clear all my fondness for insecurity

Am I just trying to manipulate possessions?
For that eyes to talk to me to make suggestions
For that heart to feel love for me
For that smile to cause no more regressions.

And today I say I would disclose it all
Tell her that I love you
Her name I would call
As tomorrow just always comes and goes
Time runs away from hand and distance grows

So I am here to tell you
Before it's too late
Will you be the one for me?
Will you be my fate?
